Gavin Hill at the Tottenham Academy

Gavin Hill was chosen for a “once in a lifetime” experience to train with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Academy. The assembled team had some of the best soccer players in the USA.  The group had the opportunity to play the 2nd place team in the premier league’s academy and beat them 8-3.

They had 7 training sessions, all at the academy’s state of the art training facilities. Some indoor and some outdoor. They had several 4v4 tournaments amongst themselves. They toured Wembley, Tottenham’s White Hart Lane Stadium, where they got to go in the locker room, press room, fields, etc. They met and took a photo with Eric Dier. Each was allowed to get one autograph, Gavin chose to have his game jersey autographed as a gift for Coach.

They played against QPR Academy and won 4 to 2. Normally every day, there was a training session and some event planned. They toured London, national gallery, Buckingham, London eye, etc, shopped at one of their big malls, went to a Watford Premier League game. He took the train to Paris for 2 days after the week at Tottenham was done and went to the top of Eiffel tower.
