UPPER 90 FC’s 2006 & 2005 Ladies & Moose’s Mission helping local animal shelters

On Tuesday, August 7, 2018 the 2006 and 2005 ladies, under the direction of Moose’s Mission, pulled together to make approximately 30 blankets and donate approximately 30 dog toys and $170.  The blankets and toys were then delivered to local animal shelters (Medina County SPCA, Parma Animal Shelter & Buckeye’s Missions and Sanctuary.

About Moose’s Mission:

“While waiting for their forever homes in shelters and rescues, Moose’s Mission believes that every dog should have their very own blanket & toy. These items provide comfort both physically and emotionally – when an animal feels safe and happy, they are more likely to show their true personality & find a perfect home! Moose’s Mission is making a difference by providing hands on volunteer opportunities in our community both at events and with materials in our “Moose at Home” kits. With the help of our hundreds of volunteers, Moose’s Mission has donated over 1,500 handmade blankets & 1,000 toys to shelter & rescue animals, all given with love.”

At UPPER 90 FC we look for youth with a passion for the game, players with the inner drive to reach for their goals, and players with exceptional character and sportsmanship both on and off the soccer field.”  With these projects we are working to develop the “off the soccer field” aspect of our youth.
