UPPER 90 FC 2006 Boys chipping in at Multiple Breed Rescue

On Saturday, August 4, 2018 the 2006 boys donated some of their time to chip in and help Multiple Breed Rescue farm in Elyria.  They cleaned stalls, fixed holes in the fences, played with puppies, goats, horses, pulled weeds and mowed grass.  MBR needed help getting ready for their big fundraiser.  The boys worked hard and had great attitudes.

About Multiple Breed Rescue:

“MBR is a small group of people who try to help as many animals that have been displaced through no fault of their own. The majority of the animals we take in are dogs from Kill shelters in the state of Ohio on or around the day they are going to be euthanized to make space for more dogs. We also work with local humane officers to take dogs and other animals from homes where they are being abused or mistreated. ALL of our animals are given proper vet care.

We are NOT a shelter but a foster home network, so all of our animals live in someone’s home until they can be placed in a loving FURever home. We operate 100% on volunteers and donations. We are a registered non profit 501(c) 3.

From 2006 through 2017, we have rescued 2,023 dogs in need!”

At UPPER 90 FC we look for youth with a passion for the game, players with the inner drive to reach for their goals, and players with exceptional character and sportsmanship both on and off the soccer field.”  With these projects we are working to develop the “off the soccer field” aspect of our youth.
