UPPER 90 FC Boys 2013 Team Red volunteered their time and talent to create 6 raised garden beds for Elyria Early Childhood Village. These garden beds will be utilized as part of our curricular theme “growing” when our preschool students learn about how things grow and change. The team’s work on the project included learning about what materials and tools are needed, how the boxes should be created, and of course, the physical labor.
BUILDING CHARACTER WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES
Growing Stronger, one act of kindness at a time. We strive to encourage and build upon our athlete’s character and their passion for the game, their sportsmanship, their inner drive to reach their goals both on and off the pitch. We believe that giving back to our local communities is a great way to build on this. As an organization, we feel character development is more important to our athletes development as foot skills and game time. Our club and teams projects allow us to reach out into our local communities and empower our youth athletes with responsibility, engage their compassion, and offer them the chance to positively affect the lives of others.
